Caroline focuses on serving the highly desirable New York City commuter towns along the Mid-Town Direct train line, including West Orange, South Orange, Maplewood, Millburn, Short Hills, Summit, Chatham, and Madison, New Jersey. Her hyper-local focus is a significant benefit. She understands the unique needs of young families and urban dwellers that move (and then move up) to these quaint suburban towns from New York City, Brooklyn, Hoboken and elsewhere, because she was one of them. She is a long-time resident of Maplewood, and has an intimate knowledge of what really matters to home sellers and buyers – quality schools, day care, commuting options, shopping, parks, neighborhoods, politics, taxes, cultural attractions, local stagers, designers and tradespeople, even restaurant recommendations. Caroline believes that in New Jersey real estate, location and lifestyle are just as important as bricks and mortar.
Caroline knows that real estate marketing today occurs largely online. She is a cutting-edge marketer who utilizes the latest digital, social, mobile, and email channels to consistently out-reach and out-perform other realtors and achieve maximum exposure for the properties she represents. Caroline maintains a growing national and international email database, and creatively markets every day on her vast social media network, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter and her own popular real estate blog, in addition to all of the real estate websites and apps. Through her affiliation with Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, she also leverages exclusive media partnerships with Zillow, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and many other influential publications.
Caroline is a top producer and has consistently placed in the top 1% of all real estate professionals in New Jersey every year from 2013-2017. Caroline believes that to be an effective realtor in the community, she must be a part of the community. She is an active volunteer and a passionate supporter of women entrepreneurs. Caroline co-founded and led the local chapter of the national women’s business group called Believe. Inspire. Grow. (BIG). In 2011, she received the “Mover and Shaker” award from her local Chamber of Commerce. In 2015, Caroline was selected as one of the top 150 New Jersey Leading Women Entrepreneurs, as featured in NJ Monthly Magazine.
Caroline received her BA from the University of Texas at Austin, and her MA from the American Graduate School of International Relations and Diplomacy in Paris. She has been quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Newark Star Ledger. Before real estate, she was a program manager with the United Nations in New York City. She speaks fluent French and conversational Spanish.
